WHY CHOOSE US

We’re family owned.

We take personal pride in every project and treat your home as if it were our own. Our reputation is tied to the quality of our work, so you can trust that we’ll handle every detail with care and accountability. We’re committed for the long term, building strong relationships and standing behind our work for years to come, all while upholding the values of integrity, relationship, and craftsmanship that define who we are.

We’re veteran owned.

Mark’s time spent as a builder in the Navy “Sea Bees” (CB’s, short for Construction Battalion) had him traveling to different parts of the world learning about all sorts of building practices and which materials and carpentry skills are most effective in different climates. He learned how to relate to people from all walks of life and did everything from laying brick paving stones and installing irrigation systems to pouring concrete and erecting timber towers for perimeter observation.

We’re Pacific Northwest natives.

We’ve lived, worked, and played in this beautiful part of the country our whole lives and we wouldn’t want to live anywhere else. From the mossy forests to the stunning coastlines, this is home, and it’s where our hearts are. This also means we know this climate; it’s strengths and it’s limitations, and understand the building practices and materials needed to make sure your home improvements will endure the test of time.

We know your home is deeply personal.

Our goal is to create a space that not only meets your practical needs but truly feels like it was made for YOU, with care, expertise, and attention to every detail. We take the time to listen and understand your ideas, your lifestyle, and your priorities so every decision reflects your vision. From concept to completion, we guide each step of the process, ensuring your home is uniquely yours.

We’re real people.

We’re real humans, just like you, and we pride ourselves in being warm, approachable, and authentic. What you see is what you get and we give every client the personal attention they deserve. We strive to get to know our clients, understand what matters to them, and take the time to build trusted relationships with them, one conversation at a time.

We take pride in our craftsmanship.

We love looking back at a job well done as if it were a work of art we created. After 40 years as a finish carpenter, Mark knows his craft inside and out and has high expectations for quality. He selects team members who are excited to learn and trains them personally. We nurture a culture of growth and learning so everyone is constantly improving and honing their skills to perfection.

We love a challenge.

Remodeling is a delicate process, especially in an old house where the structure has settled over time and things just aren’t as straight or level anymore. It’s a complex puzzle to understand how to make the improvements blend into the existing structure and to work with the problem areas so they don’t catch your eye. If done well, the finished product should blend seamlessly with it’s surroundings. We focus on remodels because there’s always a new and interesting problem to solve and we learn something new every time.

We want to hear from you.

Even with the best visioning and planning, there are always a few things we can’t anticipate; it’s the nature of the remodeling process. Sometimes the vision you imagined doesn’t translate exactly as you hoped in the actual space. These are the moments when communication really matters and can mean the difference between a space you love, and one that you look at every day wishing it were just a little bit different. As the process unfolds, we want you to feel comfortable coming to us with anything; your questions, your ideas, your concerns, and any feedback you have, so we can identify the changes needed to make it right.

We value transparency.

Everything flows more smoothly when our clients know what’s going on. We’ve chosen the best software and developed communication systems that make it easy to check in on your project, view recent photos and updates, and track progress from wherever you are. We use a clear cost-plus pricing structure so you can see everything you’re paying for without hidden markups. You’ll have flexibility and control over your budget so you can relax and enjoy the process.

We believe in stewardship.

We understand that, for the duration of this project, you’re putting your home, your budget, and your vision in our hands, and we take that responsibility seriously and treat them as if they were our own, so that every decision we make, from materials and design choices to timelines and daily clean-up, is guided by respect for what matters to you, the trust you’ve placed in us, and our commitment to delivering a space you’ll love for years to come.

We love to teach.

There are a lot of decisions involved at every stage of a project and it’s important that you have the information you need to know what’s right for you. Mark loves teaching and will take the time to educate you about your options, provide honest guidance, and help you make informed choices so you can feel confident in your decisions every step of the way.

OUR FRAMEWORK

The three corners of the triangle; Integrity, Relationship, and Craftsmanship, represent the core values that shape how we approach home remodeling. The sides of the triangle illustrate the dynamic connections between them:

When Integrity flows into our Relationships, the result is Trust.

When Relationships inform our Craftsmanship, the result is Collaboration.

When our Craftsmanship is infused with Integrity, the result is Excellence.

When combined, these three pillars create a model that illustrates a continuous cycle of intention, connection, and actualization. For our team, it’s a reminder of who we are as a company and of the values that guide our work. For our clients, it communicates our dedication to ensuring every space is built on a foundation of integrity and trust, nurtured through collaborative relationships, and crafted with impeccable skill and care.

MARK FALCONE | GENERAL CONTRACTOR

I’ve been in the residential construction field for over 40 years. I got my first job at 18 where I developed a talent for finish carpentry and discovered just how much I enjoyed this perfect combination of artistry and craftsmanship. I first went into business for myself at 23.

Years later, I joined the Navy “Sea Bees” (CB’s is short for Construction Battalion) and traveled to New Orleans, Germany, and Diego Garcia and worked at different Navel bases along the coast, from California to Washington. When I left the military, I returned to running my business, went back to school, and focused on supporting my family and raising my kids.

All those years ago, in my very first job, my supervisor pulled me aside and asked, “how do you feel about leadership?” I had no answer for him back then, but the question has stayed with me and shaped every decision I’ve made as an entrepreneur. Today, I’d tell him that leadership is about challenging myself every day to be an example of the qualities and characteristics I want to cultivate in my team and in relationship with my clients and partners.

For me, Homesource Homes isn’t just about construction; it’s the place where I get to share my gifts, build partnerships, and be of service to people like you. It’s a privilege I’m truly grateful for.
